"Every girl dreams of having a special horse growing up and I somehow lucked out with two. Cat wasn’t exactly the best beginner pony a girl could get as a little girl, but she had taught me so many lessons which I will remember forever. From trainers telling us that Cat would hurt little me to being so close with her that we trusted each others tackles. The most unique and sassy pony,  you definitely could spot that little leopard Appaloosa anywhere! Eventually, Cat couldn’t keep up and we were gifted Luka and although it was a huge change I was appreciative for the opportunity of such an amazing horse. His previous owner had passed and his wish was to have a little girl show him and boy was he right about his horse. Luka loved his job so much and was excited to restart his career with me. We had many distractions while we were showing between flooding and evacuating numerous times Luka and I still achieved so much with what we were dealt. He was ambitious, so fun to ride, and extremely honest. Sadly, Cat had passed away in 2023 and Luka in 2025. I enjoyed every second I had to make memories with them. I hope to one day find a horse with such great personalities and huge hearts like my babies that passed."  ~Madi Lahodny
