About the Artist  

It is hard to remember whether my first love was horses or photography, as the two seemed to go hand in hand. Quite frankly, I've always been a little obsessed with both. My most cherished memories are the carefree days at the barn with friends and our horses, preserving the evidence of our shenanigans with a Kodak Ektralite camera.

Since then, my riding has become more focused and purposeful and my photography has evolved into an art that I am excited to share with others. My goal is to capture each client’s unique personality and create beautiful images that will be treasured for a lifetime. 

Based in Houston, Texas, Kristie travels to barns throughout the Lone Star State... and beyond. As a lifelong horse lover and the official photographer for hundreds of shows and equestrian events, her unique blend of experience allows her to capture the genuine connection between horse and rider in a way that is both meaningful and artistic.  Her work is regularly featured in Sidelines Magazine and can be seen on display at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center in Katy, Texas.
