"Magnus is an 11-year-old Andalusian gelding, bred in Miami. I have had him for exactly two years and we have built an amazing partnership over that time. Magnus is one of the only horses I’ve known who absolutely has a sense of humor. If he were a school boy, he would be the class clown. Not long after I got him, I discovered that he can untie any knot in his lead rope in a manner of seconds. He would get loose so fast and we’d find him wandering down the barn aisle making friends. He also thinks it’s hilarious to grab the grooming sponge out of the water bucket with his teeth and shake his head flinging water everywhere. Magnus is sexy and he knows it. He loves to pose for pictures and was SO into his photo shoot with Kristie that we didn’t even have to restrain him in the arena. We just told him where to stand and where to look and he would do it… obviously pleased with all the attention he so richly deserves.I love this horse with all my heart. And I believe the feeling is mutual. He always takes care of me and has been a real confidence builder for me especially at this stage in my life, being a “more mature” rider. We compete in dressage and we both have a blast dancing together on the stage. I feel like the luckiest person in the world living out my childhood dreams."
