Samantha & Tulip

Horse & Rider Portrait Session

Hunters Run Stables

Friendswood, Texas

"Tulip was supposed to be just a short term project horse while I finished up college, but in the 2 years I’ve owned her, she’s turned into so much more. My 7 year old is quite the firecracker, but the greater the challenge, the greater the reward it’s been to learn alongside her. This past year she was the 2025 GHHJA Pre-Green Champion and USHJA Outreach Bronze Level Horse. However, more than that, she’s been the best friend I’ve ever had in a horse. She has the sweetest personality and loves to cuddle. Her sweetest gesture yet is how she nuzzles to ask for a scratch then gently scratches me back. Tulip’s been a joy beyond words. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us in our move to San Antonio!"
