His good nature shines every time he enters the ring. Archer reminds me daily why I fell in love with this sport so many years ago. More than anything I love the quiet moments with him in the barn feeding him an excessive amount of treats and giving him scratches in his favorite spots. Based in Katy, Texas, Kristie Scholten photographs horses throughout the country, creating treasured artwork for the ones that love them. Kristie will be returning to the Traverse City Horse Shows this summer for weeks 2, 3 & 4 of the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival. Fine Art black and white background portrait sessions will be available at the Equine Studio, located on vendor row. A limited number of Horse & Rider sessions will be offered, so be sure to reserve your session in advance.
