"Born in 2017, “Aminka Z”, daughter of extraordinary Zangersheide sire Asca Z, started her show jumping career competing in competitions all across Europe with much success. After importation to the United States in October of 2023, her whole world changed, including her name! Not looking like an “Aminka”, I quickly changed her name to Lilly, not just because someday she will be all white like the flower. Lilly came into my life right at the time when my relationship with riding and horses in general was complicated. My heart horse, most beloved friend, and partner in crime of 13 years was sick and soon after meeting Lilly passed away. I wasn’t even sure I wanted another horse after his death. However, Lilly gave me a purpose, something to focus on and an escape from my emotions whenever I was with her. I soon came to see so much of my old beloved friend in her and I do not know that I could have handled the grief without her. She is one of the most amazing horses I have ever owned and I feel blessed to call her mine. Her pictures capture her so perfectly for everything she is – curious, loving, and beautiful!
Thank you so much for capturing my special girl."
