I was fortunate enough to cross paths with Ozzy (Ozean GSF) 8 months ago. I knew he was the one the first time I sat on him. He’s a very sensitive guy and has a heart of gold. I’ve never had a horse that knows (and enjoys) his job like Ozzy. He takes care of his mom, and we have had many accomplishments in the hunter ring our first six months together. I couldn’t ask for a better teammate.

Prada needed her forever home at six months old, and I was in the market for my first Corgi. This dog has won a big piece of my heart in the 3 years I’ve had her, and is by far one of the most loyal dogs I’ve ever owned. She is my shadow, and sitting in my lap and giving kisses are two of her favorite activities. 

Based in Katy, Texas, Kristie Scholten photographs horses throughout the country, creating treasured artwork for the ones that love them.  Horse and Rider and Equine Studio sessions are available at upcoming events in 2026 at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center, the Kentucky Horse Park, HITS Ocala, or at your barn, by appointment.
