"Horses are part of my heart and soul. My parents wanted their children to learn a sport that we could do at any age and any stage of life; I chose horses over golf and tennis. I competed in Hunter-Jumper as a child and young adult. In November 2022, I bought Sinco De Mayo SPF, a 2^nd Level, 2014 Hanoverian dressage gelding. Sinco and I bonded the moment we met. At 17.1, his size can intimidate riders; however, it truly matches his huge personality. We were invited to Nationals in 1^st and 2^nd Level Freestyle in 2024. In Spring 2025, we plan to ride our first 3^rd Level test. Since our journey began Sinco and I have come a long way thanks to my trainer Fran Kehr and Pam Goodrich, Kristin Stringer, and all the Knollheads at Windy Knoll Farm in Magnolia, TX."  ~ Carrie Leach
