A quick trip for our anniversary to a state near and dear to our hearts.  There's a reason it's called The Land of Enchantment. I love all four seasons in New Mexico, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be fall. Nothing beats the perfect weather and cottonwood trees in all their glory.

Kristie Scholten is an award winning boutique photographer, specializing in horse and rider portraits, equine fine art and equestrian event photography.

Based in Katy, Texas, she travels to barns throughout the country to create meaningful art that will be treasured for generations.

Her work is regularly featured in Sidelines Magazine and can be seen on display at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center.
